Thursday, March 15: This morning we will bird the St. Lawrence River from Morrisburg to Glen Walter (just E of Cornwall) in search of migrant waterfowl, gulls and early migrants such as Song Sparrows and blackbirds. Snow Geese, Canada Geese and rarer geese are likely to have arrived in good numbers by this date, as well. Please pack your spotting scope if you have one!
Outing notes: Here are some ideas of what to pack and what to wear during our outing. A field lunch, some snacks, water, a thermos full of your preferred hot beverage, hand and foot warmers, extra socks, sturdy and warm footwear, windbreaker, layered clothing, lens cloth, lip balm, sunscreen and favoured field guides.

Meet at the Highway 416 carpool lot at Bankfield/Brophy at 8:15 AM, or the McDonald’s in Morrisburg at 9:00 AM.
