Spring birding in Ottawa

Saturday, March 31: This morning we will be birding from Richmond north to Shirleys Bay, then west to Dunrobin, in search of both resident and migrant birds.

Outing notes: Here are some ideas of what to pack and what to wear during this field outing. Waterproof footwear is recommended, and rain jacket/rain pants are also useful items to have on-hand during spring birding outings. Pack rubber boots as well, as the trails may be quite wet at this time. Please pack some snacks, plenty of water, lens cloth, lip balm, sunscreen, and favoured field guides.

Meet at 9:00 AM at the 416 carpool lot at Bankfield and 416, just off William McEwen Drive.
