Thursday, May 24: A morning spent birding this wonderful little trail just outside of the city. Two highly sought-after warblers breed here in good numbers: Mourning Warbler and Canada Warbler. Magnolia Warbler also breeds here. All sorts of other migrants are possible today, including Yellow-bellied Flycatcher and Olive-sided Flycatcher.

Please also consider a mosquito head net; the mosquitos can be really bad here. Please also pack some snacks, plenty of water, lens cloth, lip balm, sunscreen, and favoured field guides.
