Sunday, August 12: This morning we will search for shorebirds, herons, waterfowl, gulls, warblers, vireos, swallows and more at Shirleys Bay & Moodie Quarry.
Outing notes: To access the dyke at Shirleys Bay, you must be an OFNC member. You must also be on the OFNC membership list which was given to the DND. Please be sure to pack snacks, plenty of liquids, electrolyte mix, sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable and breathable clothing, comfortable hiking shoes, and so on. Note that I will be packing electrolyte mix for the group should you wish to sprinkle some into your water bottle.

Meet at 8:30 AM at Shirleys Bay public boat launch, located at the north end of Rifle Road.
