Britannia Conservation Area

Saturday, August 25: This morning we will search for a wide variety of fall migrants at one of Ottawa’s foremost migrant “traps.” From late August to mid-September, peak numbers of warblers, flycatchers and vireos (among countless others) pass through our region. Birding is generally good to excellent at this time!

Outing notes: Please be sure to pack snacks, plenty of liquids, electrolyte mix, sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable and breathable clothing, comfortable hiking shoes, and so on. Note that I will be packing electrolyte mix for the group should you wish to sprinkle some into your water bottle.
