Mer Bleue Conservation Area

Thursday, October 18: A morning exploring beautiful Mer Bleue Bog in search of a variety of fall migrants, as well as lingering local breeders stocking up on reserves before flying south. We will slowly walk several trails this morning, beginning our day by exploring the bog at the end of Ridge Road.

Outing notes: Please be sure to pack snacks, a warm beverage of your choice, some liquids, electrolyte mix, sunscreen, windbreaker, comfortable clothing, comfortable hiking shoes, and so on. It’s a good idea to pack light gloves, a scarf and a toque at this time of year, as well, as it’s often quite blustery.
