Fall birding in Ottawa

Sunday, November 11: A half-day outing in search of fall migrants, such as owls, gulls, waterfowl, sparrows and more. I will build this tour around the latest reports of interest for the region. Check back on Thursday, November 8th anytime after 5:00 PM for outing specifics!

Outing notes: Please be sure to pack snacks, a warm beverage of your choice, some liquids, electrolyte mix, sunscreen, windbreaker, comfortable clothing, comfortable hiking shoes, and so on. Consider a thermal underlayer if it’s going to be chilly. It’s a good idea to pack light gloves, a scarf and a toque at this time of year, as well, as it’s often quite blustery.
