Spring birding in Ottawa

Wednesday, April 3: A morning spent birding the east end of Ottawa in search of newly-arrived spring migrants and the last of the lingering winter visitors! We will begin our day by birding Mer Bleue (walking the boardwalk trail, as well as birding Dewberry Trail parking lot, as well as along Dolman Ridge Road).

Outing notes: Dress in seasonal and comfortable clothing, and consider wearing layers, as well. Please consider packing rubber boots (preferably an insulated pair), windbreaker, rainwear, extra socks, coffee/tea, snacks, water, and sunscreen. It’s also a good idea to check the weather forecast for the region in which we will be birding to help you decide on what to wear for the trip!
