Amherst Island & Kingston

Weather: Cold and blustery with moderate to strong winds throughout the day. Intermittent showers beginning in the afternoon. Daytime high of approximately 8 degrees Celsius (though, it felt quite a bit colder!)

Outing Snippet

Although the weather made for challenging birding, we still had an enjoyable Easter Weekend birding trip to Amherst Island and the Kingston environs. A nice suite of bird species was enjoyed by all, most especially come the afternoon, where we tallied many species of duck at Cataraqui Bay and a nice haul of Passerines at Marshlands C.A.
