Boreal Owl in Quebec

Saturday, January 25: Today we will be road-tripping to see owls, including taking a shot at observing, photographing and studying the long-staying Boreal Owl at RN de Pointe-Yamachiche, near Trois-Rivieres. There is also a long-staying Northern Saw-whet at this site. We will bird a few sites on the way back home; short walks, nothing strenuous or too lengthy! Montreal’s West Island has a few Saw-whets and plenty of Long-eared Owls in various locales. We will check a few sites out. Please note that with following up on bird reports, there are no guarantees, but, we will hope for the best 🙂
