Roughly 11 km of trails throughout = an excellent opportunity to observe many species of migrant landbird as well as observe both resident and migratory waterfowl. Warbler diversity is nearing its peak, <em>Empidonax<\/em>\u00a0flycatchers such as Traill&#8217;s (Willow\/Alder), Least, Yellow-bellied are all possible, as are\u00a0<em>Catharus\u00a0<\/em>thrushes: Swainson&#8217;s, Hermit, and Veery. Given the southerly location of this site, both northern and southern avifauna are present, both as migrants and residents. A great day of birding awaits.
