Overview, Targets, & Topics: This morning we will explore this intriguing birding area, especially the south-western area, of which has produced a slew of observations of speciality and more southerly species over the years, such as: Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and Yellow-billed Cuckoo and apparently is home to a small population of Yellow-throated Vireos (M. Runtz, pers. comm., 2015). Local breeders will be aplenty as will migrants. An exciting morning of exploration awaits! More information: http://www.southmarchhighlands.ca/
