We will begin our morning with a shorebird study and then move eastward, stopping to survey the scene at Andrew Haydon, Ottawa Beach, and finishing with a focus on landbirds at Britannia Conservation Area. Throughout this outing, some other targets are: Birds of Prey, Empidonax flycatchers, Catharus thrushes (Swainson’s, Hermit, Veery), warblers @ or nearing their peak in both variety and numbers, Philadelphia Vireos, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, sparrows, etc. etc. The sky’s the limit! A short lunch break will be scheduled. Here’s hoping for a cold front the night before the walk 🙂
